Walter Pollock West peacefully passed away on January 3, 2023 surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Warsaw, NC on December 3, 1928 to the late James Norwood West, Sr. and wife, Anna Pollock West.

He is survived by Pearl Raynor West, his wife of 70 years.  He is survived by his three sons, Walt West, Jr. of Warsaw, Brian Raynor West (Cacky) of Wilmington, and Joshua Norwood West of Warsaw.  His brother, Ronald West (Lynda) of Smithfield also survives him. He is also survived by his granddaughter, Lindsay Lake West of Savannah, GA and his grandson, Austin Brinkley (Kelsey) of Kenansville.

A celebration of his life will be held on January 6, 2023 at 11:00 AM at the Warsaw United Methodist Church, located at 107 W. Plank Street, Warsaw

Memorials may be made to the Warsaw United Methodist Church or the charity of one's choice.
