Thomas Earl Smith, 73, passed away on Friday, May 13, 2022 at his home after a short battle with lung cancer. Thomas was the son of the late Leland Earl and Ruby Mae Smith. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Justin Blake Wilson.

Thomas and Donna were married for 53 years where they made a living by farming, tobacco, cucumbers, corn, hogs and cows, just to name a few. Together they had four daughters; Tracey, Kelly, Abby and Jody who all live on the family farm. To Thomas, life didn't really begin until the grandkids came along who all called him papa. those babies brought him more joy and happiness than anything else. Thomas loved to take trips to the mountains to ride horses with friends and taking long naps under the barn shelter but he was a kid when it came time to ride the tractor.
