Soraya Jo Marshburn Jarman went home to be with the Lord on February 24, 2021.

She was born to Marvin (Jack) Marshburn and Frances English Morton on May 15, 1961 in Onslow County, North Carolina.

She is survived by her husband Kenny Jarman, son Elliot Jarman (Morgan), and son Steven Jarman. She is also survived by her mother Frances English Morton (Dallas), father Marvin (Jack) Marshburn, sister Simone Vance (Alex), and sister Sonya Dixon (Richard). She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.

Soraya had an infectious spirit and her love for the Lord was apparent in all aspects of her life. She went out of her way to take care of those around her and was always willing to lend a helping hand. She was a strong and courageous woman who leaned in to her faith through all things. Soraya touched many lives and her kind and compassionate heart will be missed by all her loved ones.

Visitation will be held Sunday, February 28, 2021 from 6:00pm-8:00pm at the First Baptist Church in Richlands.

A Funeral service will be held Monday, March 1, 2021 at 2:00pm at the First Baptist Church in Richlands with interment to follow at the Jarman Family Cemetery.
