Samuel Allen "Pete" Colie, 69, passed away on Thursday, May 6, 2021, at his home.

A funeral service will be held, Saturday , May 8, 2021 at 6:00 PM at Community Funeral Home, Beulaville. A graveside service will be held Sunday, May 9, 2021 at 2:00 PM at East Duplin Memorial Gardens.

Pete is survived by his wife of 50 years, Brenda H. Colie; sisters-in-law, Evelyn Blalock and Fannie Grady and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Alton and Mary Colie; brother, Willie Colie, Jr. and sister, Linda Stanley.

Pete enjoyed working outside restoring antique tractors, loved fishing and enjoyed stock car racing. He was employed by R.N. Rouse and Co. of Goldsboro for 28 years in Commercial Construction.

All are welcome to attend and celebrate his life. The Colie family would like to thank everyone for their prayers and support.
