Rose Griffin Miller

Rose Marie Griffin was born in Mount Olive, North Carolina on September 7, 1955. Her parents JB and Evyleen Futral Griffin lived around the Kenansville area. Rose was blessed with four sisters and five brothers. God took two brothers at a very young age to be with Him in heaven. Rose married Bobby C. Miller in 1988. He was a special man to her. Together, they were blessed with the most perfect daughter, Brittany Carol Miller, a little late in life. God’s plan was for them to only have one child. What a gift she is! In 2022, Rose gained a son-in-law, Jacob Hummel. Brittany and Jacob gave Rose one grandson, Jasen, in 2024, and one granddaughter is on the way.

Rose was a hard worker, with twenty-six years of her life being a supervisor and quality control for a manufacturing company. Then, Rose worked with the Onslow County Health Department where she retired after twenty-eight years of service. Her dream job was to work with flowers in a florist. She loved to make people happy.

Rose joined the Hallsville Baptist Church in 1991 and attended until the end.
