Ralph Eugene Page, III passed away on Friday, June 4, 2021 following a courageous battle with cancer. His faithfulness never wavered during his illness. Ralph was born on January 13, 1949 to the late Ralph Eugene Page, Jr. and Dorothy Arlene Ellis Page. In addition to his parents, Ralph was preceded in death by his sister, Jeanne Edith Page.
Ralph is survived by the love of his life, Mary Garner Page. Ralph and Mary married on August 15 th of 1976. Ralph and Mary were blessed with a daughter Jessica Brown of Willow Springs, NC and son, Michael Page (Stacey) of Beulaville, NC. Ralph was a wonderful "Bubba" to grandchildren, Chloe Brown, Isabella Brown, and Colton Page.
In addition, Ralph is survived by sisters, Elaine Hall (Dixon) of Monroe, NC, Barbara Kluttz (Herb) of Burlington, NC, and Dottie Brogdon of Greensboro, NC. Uncle Ralph was the "Funcle" to numerous nieces and nephews. Ralph's love of family extended outside of his biological family as he had numerous extended family members.
Ralph and Mary's home has always been a gathering place filled with love to all who visited. For many years, Ralph and Mary opened their beautiful home and gardens for weddings and other special events.
Ralph took great pride in all work he did over his lifetime. He was a hard worker, who instilled his work ethic in those who worked alongside him. An entrepreneur, he owned multiple businesses in his lifetime to include a painting company, Forestry Sustainability service for Weyerhaeuser and cell tower construction services. At the time of his passing he was employed by Horne Brothers Construction, Inc. – Solar Division.
Ralph was a friend to all he met along the way. You could find Ralph mentoring to others, helping a church build a fellowship shelter, or cooking and feeding those displaced by hurricanes, even when he himself was affected. Whatever the need, Ralph was there leading by example to fulfill the need. Ralph loved his family and enjoyed spending time with family and extended family boating, saltwater fishing or hosting one of his famous pig pickins. Ralph loved big and unconditionally. He will be greatly missed.
