Rabon Maready, age 83, of Beulaville, NC passed away on Monday, June 8, 2026 at ECU Health Medical Center in Greenville, NC. 

Mr. Maready was born March 28,1943 in Duplin County, NC. He was the son of the late Roscoe and Elma Edwards Maready, a graduate of Barton College, originally Atlantic Christian College and the owner/founder of Financial Management Consultants, Beulaville.

 He is preceded in death by his parents and siblings: Ellie Maready, Elwood Maready, Red Maready, Tiny Yeatts and Ronnie Maready. 

He is survived by Linda Brinson Maready, his wife of sixty-three years and their four children, Lana Neal and husband, Scott, Lori Monaghan and husband, Jason, Lydia Faulkner and husband, James, Bradley Maready and wife, Georgia, eight grandchildren: Evan (Emily), Ashlyn (Josh), Camryn (Bryson), Gabriel, Juliet, Josiah, Carson, Everleigh and six great grandchildren: Graysen, Elliot, Caden, Cash, Lucy and Crew. He is also survived by his sister, Joyce Jarman and husband, Kenneth and numerous nieces and nephews.

 A celebration of a life well lived will be held at 6:00 pm on Sunday, June 14, 2026 at Community Funeral Home in Beulaville with the Rev. Scott Neal officiating. The family will receive family and friends immediately following the service. Graveside service will be held Monday, June 15th at 10:00 am at East Duplin Memorial Gardens, Beulaville.
