Peter Dwayne Sterling, 61 of Chinquapin passed away Friday, July 2, 2021 at Vidant Duplin Hospital.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at 3:00 pm at Devotional Gardens in Warsaw.

He is survived by his wife, Janet Price Sterling of Chinquapin; sons, Peter Dwayne Sterling, Jr. (Trina) of Sylvania, GA, Jamie Brown (Sharon) of Chinquapin and Tate Jenkins of Chinquapin; daughters, Tasha Sterling of Sylvania, GA, Amanda Elizabeth Lambert (David) of Pollocksville and Katie Marie Gillespie (Kenneth) of Pollocksville; brother, George Sterling of TX and 10 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Mike Sterling.
