Perry James Straughan, 92, passed away on Saturday, June 17, 2023 at his home.

He is preceded in death, by his first wife, Sara Straughan, parents, Evander and BeEttie Straughan, brothers; Clifton, Ollie, Louis, Howard, William. Fred, Harry and Thomas Straughan, sisters, Elizabeth Bullington, Hattie Lamb, Betty Cain and Louise Privette

He was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church, Jacksonville, NC

He retired in 1992 from Black Industries, Inc. of Durham, NC
