Marvin Mills (88) of Trenton, NC died, peacefully, in his home, March 27, 2023.

He was preceded in death by his mother Catherine Westbrook Miller, his father,
James Russell Mills, his sons- James Henry Mills, Larry Lee Mills, three infant sons,
his grandson- Timothy Russell, and brother Raymond Mills.

Marvin is survived by his wife of sixty-nine years, Olife S. Mills, three children:
Mark Mills (Sandy) of Deep Run, Pam Mills (Roger Marshburn) of Richlands, and Norma Daniels
of Trenton, brother Benjamin "Buddy" Miller (Joyce) of Pleasant Hill, two sisters: Beatrice Miller of
Richlands, and Dale "Cookie" Rich of Trenton. Grandchildren: Jennifer Kellum, Jason Mills (Mindy),
Nickolas Mills (Ann), Ethan Mills (Pam), Travis Daniels (Braelyn), ten great-grandchildren: Mckenzie
Mills, Lily Mills, Jase Mills, Alexa Kellum, Karsun Mills, Brody Mills, Brantley Mills, and Henry Mills,
Emilia Mills, and Sarafina Mills, Numerous nieces, nephews, and life-long friends.

Marvin was a man of many talents. "A Jack of All Trades". He was a farmer, mechanic, logger, carpenter,
truck driver, and salesman. Being the perfectionist (worrier) he was, he excelled at all he attempted.
Marvin was a member of Tuckahoe Christian Church where he served as a deacon and choir member for
many years. He attended Jacob's Well Church of Richlands the last several years and developed a
special friendship with Rev. Mike Jarman.

Thanks to the staff at Gentiva, especially Cathy Thompson, for your dedication to his care and comfort ,
and the kindness shown to our family.

No matter the gesture ( a kind word, phone call, visit, food, and prayer) we are earnestly grateful.
