Lois Edwards Miller, 87, passed away on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at her home.

She is preceded in death by her spouses, Ralph James Kennedy and Britt Miller, brother, Alpha "Buddy" Edwards and a sister, Rovean Horne.

Lois had her priorities in order:  her faith, her family then her friends.  She was a living testimony of her Christian faith and a life long member of Piney Grove Pentecostal Freewill Baptist Church.

She married her first love, Ralph, in 1956 and they had one precious son named Randall.  They shared a wonderful life together for 41 years.  Tragically, Ralph passed at only 61 yrs old.  Lois and Britt Miller believed that God brought them together to heal their hearts. Together they became the grandparents of seven grandchildren.  Britt proposed to Lois while Aaron, Heather and Erika were riding in the backseat of his car.  Lois and Britt focused on sharing in the lives of all of them.  Their days and nights were filled with ballgames, recitals, practices and whatever the family requested.  Lois never missed an opportunity to visit the sick or homebound.  She selfishly cared for Britt through his passing.  Even during the last week of her life, she visited friends and loved ones in need when she was weak herself.  Lois is certainly in the presence of the Lord, her Lord, and she passed in the same simple manner in which she lived.  She loved all, never met a stranger, never missed an opportunity to visit and took the call when Jesus called her home.
