Kathy "Kaye" Louise Rouse, age 74, passed away peacefully on April 7th, leaving behind a legacy of faith, hard work, laughter, and deep love for her family.
Kaye devoted the majority of her life to working alongside her family in the car business and in property management, where she was known for her dedication, resilience, and unwavering commitment. She was the kind of woman who showed up every day, gave her best, and built a life rooted in responsibility and care for those around her.
Above all, Kaye was a devout Christian whose faith guided her life. She pursued and earned her theology degree, reflecting her passion for understanding God's word and living it out daily. Her faith was not only something she believed—it was something she embodied through kindness, strength, and grace.
Kaye was also known for her sharp sense of humor and her unmistakable personality. She had a way of making people laugh when they needed it most, often with a quick wit and a no-nonsense charm. And if you knew Kaye, you knew she rarely went anywhere without a Diet Coke and a Marlboro in hand, she wouldn't have had it any other way. It was just part of what made her, her.
She was a loving and proud mother to her three children: Kim Jimmerson, Kevin Waters, and Kenneth Waters. She found her greatest joy in her family and cherished every moment spent with them.
She was a proud grandmother to seven grandchildren: James Waters, Micheal Waters, Alicia Moody, Lauren Waters, April Jimmerson, Ryker Waters, and Asher Waters. Each held a special place in her heart, and she loved them deeply, creating lasting memories that will be treasured forever.
Kaye will be remembered for her strong faith, her tireless work ethic, her humor, and the love she poured into her family. She will be deeply missed, but her legacy will live on in the lives of those who knew and loved her.
