T iny Joyce Dail Williams (1934 - 2023)
Joyce Williams, 89, transtioned from this life to her eternal home on Monday, May 29, from Wallace Health & Rehab, where she had been a patient for several months.
She was preceeded in death by: husband, Samuel H. Williams; parents, Quince and Verline Sholar Dail; and seven brothers and one sister.
Joyce was known by many titles: wife, Mama, Grandma, Mema, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend.
She was a homemaker for most of her life but also was a farm hand and caregiver. Many people pulled up a chair to Joyce's table to enjoy a meal or slice of cake as she was a fabulous cook and baker. Joyce attended Hallsville Baptist church for many years where she was actively involved in WMU and enjoyed trips to Camp Caswell.
