Obituary

George Michael "Mike" Sholar, Sr.

August 5, 1953-December 26, 2022

Mike Sholar, born August 5, 1953, departed this world and entered his Heavenly home on the evening of December 26, 2022.

Mike was a unique man with many special talents. He loved life and lived it to the fullest. However, his true love language was music and his close relationship with his personal Savior, Jesus Christ. Mike was a phenomenal musician, playing several different instruments proficiently. His wife and children all loved to hear him play and sing to the banjo and guitar best.

Mike never met a stranger and never missed an opportunity to talk to others about Jesus. His most sincere dying wish was that each of his children and grandchildren have a personal relationship with the Lord so that they could all have the assurance of a great reunion in Glory one day.

Mike is survived by his loving wife, Cathy Foxworth Sholar, of the home and his brood,
