Doris Straughn Lambert, 86 of Beulaville went to be with the Lord June 9, 2021 at her home.

She was born on August 25, 1934 at Richlands, NC, and was the daughter of the late Linwood and Effie Straughn. In addition to her parents.

Sshe was preceded in death by three brothers and four sisters and one adopted grandson, Everett Edwards, Jr.

Those left behind to cherish her memories are her husband, Ronald Lambert of 47 years; daughter, Betty Brown of Maple Hill, NC; two sons, Marvin Padgett of Maple Hill, NC and Hayward Padgett (Nancy) of Raeford, NC and step son, James Lambert of Beulaville; four grandchildren, Jeremy Brown (Heather) of Maple Hill, NC, Lee Brown of Saint Mary's, GA, Charlie Padgett of Maple Hill, NC and Crystal Batts (Jeff) of Hampstead, NC.; nine great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild and many other relatives and friends.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at 7:00 pm in the chapel of Community Funeral Home of Beulaville with visitation to follow the service. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, June 16, 2021 at 11:00 am at Onslow Memorial Park, Jacksonville.

Pallbearers will be Chase Carter, Glenn Lambert, Everett Edwards, Sr. Charlie Padgett, Jeremy Brown and Duland Jenkins. Honorary pallbearers will be Reed Brown, Christian Batts and Spencer Newton.
