He was born August 21, 1947, in Kinston, NC to Daniel Grady McQueen and Nell Norris Langley.

He proudly served his country in the Army for 12 years after which he was a long haul truck driver.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Daniel McQueen and Nell Langley, his brother, Michael Norris McQueen and his grandparents, who raised him, Liston and Daisy Norris, a special uncle and aunt, Jeffrey and Pearl James.

Survivors include his wife, Ann McQueen of the home, two sons, Steve and David McQueen of Geneva, Alabama, two daughters, Teresa Thorton, Geneva, Alabama and Angel Tyndall, Pink Hill, NC.  A special step-daughter, Tammie Fleury (Bryan), of Clinton, NC, sister, Diane Leaming, Beulaville, NC, six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren:.

Family will receive visitors at his sister's home, Diane Leaming, 1065 Jackson Store Road, Beulaville, NC 28518
