Celebrating the Life of Becky Sanderson Brock

Becky Sanderson Brock, 65, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 4, 2026, at Pender Memorial Hospital in Burgaw, NC.

Becky lived her life with grace, dedication, and a signature bright smile that could light up any room. As a dental hygienist, she turned routine visits into genuine connections, treating every patient like family. Outside of work, she found joy in hunting for antiques, exploring family genealogy, and nurturing her beautiful plants.

While she took great pride in her work and hobbies, Becky’s greatest joy was her family. She was a foundational anchor of love and support for her children, Glenn and Heather, teaching them by example how to navigate life with strength and kindness. She wore the title of "Nana" to her four grandsons: Tyler, Tanner, Toby, and Easton with immense pride, spoiling them with love and affection. Becky shared an unbreakable, lifelong bond with her siblings that remained a pillar of her life. She was also a deeply loving aunt, serving as a constant source of warmth and support for her many nieces and nephews.

Becky was a loyal and vibrant companion. She leaves behind a legacy of love, dedication, and countless cherished memories.

She is survived by:

Children: Son, Glenn Anderson, Jr. of Watha, NC; and Daughter, Heather Anderson of Burgaw, NC.

Grandchildren: Tyler Sawyer, Tanner Sawyer, Toby Sawyer, and Easton Anderson.

Sisters: Bonnie Rhodes (Russell Page) of Clayton, NC; and Brenda Price of Beulaville, NC.

Brother: Joe Sanderson (Dolores) of Florida.

Many beloved nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends.

She was preceded in death by:

Parents, Joseph and Pauline Sanderson.

Sisters, Betty Sholar and Barbara Yarbro.

Brother, Julian Sanderson.

Visitation

The family will receive friends and loved ones to share memories, drop in, and celebrate Becky's life.

Location: Community Funeral Home, Beulaville, NC

Memorial Service

A private memorial service will be held by the family at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made directly to Community Funeral Home in honor of Becky Sanderson Brock to assist with arrangements.
