Obituary

A drian Brent Bell May 27, 1950-June 19, 2022

Adrian Brent Bell, age 72 passed away Sunday afternoon at Vidant Duplin Hospital.  He was born in Wayne County, NC.  His passions were his family, hunting, and serving others.  Adrian was an avid hunter and sportsman and passed this love down to his children and grandchildren.

The love he had for hunting was only surpassed by his love for God and his family.  Adrian served and protected his community in Lagrange, Dunn, Benson, and Manning SC as a jailor, deputy sheriff, and assistant chief of police.  He was known for his fairness, tact, and charisma.  His highest calling was to serve the Lord as a pastor.  After graduating from seminary at The Tabernacle in Greenville, SC he pastored several congregations.  He loved pig picking cake, lemon pie, and spending time with his family.  He loved to laugh and make others laugh.

A service honoring Adrian's life will be Wednesday June 22, 2022, 7:00 PM, at Solid Rock Independent Baptist Church, 1214 NC 41 Pink Hill, NC 28572.  Immediately following the service there will be a brief time to fellowship with the family.

Adrian is survived by his wife and childhood sweetheart of 52 years Nancy Sue Price Bell of Kenansville.    His children Joy Sue Bell Brock (Ned), Daniel Brent Bell Sr. (Cristy), David John Bell (Dawn) all of Kenansville, and Timothy Ray Bell (Candy) of Warsaw.  Sister Thelma Bell Barnett (Henry) of  Kenansville, and brother Gary Bell (Teresa) of Magnolia.  Many nieces and nephews.
